All Progressives Congress (APC) aspirant for Lagos Central Senatorial District, Rt Hon Wasiu Eshinlokun-Sanni has sent a passionate letter to delegates voting in the party primary on why they should vote for him, reports thegazellenews.com.
In a emotional but strongly worded letter, the current Deputy Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly told the delegates that he is one of them, a grassroots politician who wines and dines with them at every given opportunity.
“I’m your next door neighbour, I’m the man you can meet daily on your street and engage in constructive discussion. I’m one of you, I wine and dine with you,” Eshinlokun-Sanni said.
Informing the delegates of his next aspiration, the Deputy Speaker assured that being one of them, he would not run away with the mandate of the people.

LETTER TO LAGOS CENTRAL DELEGATES
My ever diligent, articulate delegates
My name is Wasiu Eshinlokun-Sanni
I am the Deputy Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly
Currently I am aspiring to represent the Lagos Central Senatorial District in the Senate
I’m your next door neighbour
I’m the man you can meet daily on your streets and engage in constructive discussion
I’m one of you, I relate with you, I eat and dine with you.
I’ve been tested and I’ve come out with excellent results
I represented you in the House of Assembly between 1999 and 2003, I excelled
You saddled me with the responsibility of running your local government, I didn’t disappoint you
I represented your interest as the Secretary of our great party, I excelled
By your voting power, I returned to the House of Assembly in 2015 and we are still doing great.
I’m now seeking for a greater assignment and I believe and have confidence in your support
I’ve proven overtime that I’m one of you, the man next door, hence there is no fear of me running away with your mandate
