The Lagos State Female Councilors Forum has appointed Hon Rasaq Olusola Ajala, the Chairman of Odiolowo-Ojuwoye LCDA as its patron.
In a meeting held at his office, Hon. Ajala addressed the executive members of the forum and emphasized the importance of being proactive in their respective wards.
“As representatives of your wards, it is crucial that you actively engage with the needs of the people you serve, especially during these times of subsidy,” he cautioned, urging them to lead by example and live modestly within their communities to avoid sending the wrong messages.
He also stressed the significance of united support for the government of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu at both the state and local levels.
He encouraged everyone to work together diligently to ensure the success of the government’s initiatives.
Expressing his gratitude for being appointed as the patron of the forum, Hon. Ajala humbly thanked the members for considering him worthy of such a position.
He promised to extend his support to the councilors to the best of his abilities and within the resources available to him as the chairman of the LCDA.
In response, the Public Relations Officer of the forum, Hon. Abisodun Odusina Adeoye from Isolo Local Council Development Area, conveyed her appreciation to the chairman for accommodating them on short notice.
She expressed that they found his advice valuable and assured him that they would put it to good use.
The highlight of the event was the presentation of a gratitude award to the chairman by the President of the Forum, Hon. Folashade Akinpelu from Ikosi/Isheri LCDA.
