The Chairmanship candidate of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in the forthcoming local government election in Oshodi Isolo Local Government, Otunba Kehinde Almoroof Oloyede has presented his running mate to the incumbent Chairman of the local government, leaders and elders of the party.
The presentation was done on Wednesday, 9 June, 2021 when the chairmanship candidate, Otunba Kehinde Almoroof Oloyede in company of some members of team Aanularigba took the Vice Chairmanship candidate, Modupe Badmus to the Oyetayo headquarters of the local government where he presented her to the incumbent chairman and members of his management.
He disclosed that before arriving at the choice, several factors were considered and issues raised, but he has seen a loyal and reliable running mate.
In his speech,the incumbent Chairman, Hon Idris Bolaji Muse Ariyoh, thanked the candidate for the honour and the choice of a female running mate.
He he however appealed to Modupe Badmus to be loyal and submissive to the chairman so that the local government can be peaceful and achieve progress during their tenure.
She was later presented to other stakeholders in the local government including Alhaji Musiliu Akinsanya popularly known as MC Olu-Omo, who is the Lagos State Chairman of the National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW) and a chieftain of the APC in the local government.
