The Lagos State Caretaker Committee of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has saluted members of the party for the peaceful conduct of the party’s ward congresses throughout the state.
A statement by the spokesman for the party in the state, Seye Oladejo, confirmed that the ward congresses went through smooth process throughout the state.
The statement reads:
“We want to congratulate our members for success of the long awaited ward congress of our party. We delighted that it was devoid of any ugly incident as the consensus arrangement as provided for by our constitution encouraged by the national headquarters and endorsed by the large majority of the leadership and membership of Lagos State APC was affirmed at the various venues of the ward congress across the state as witnessed by INEC, security agencies and other stakeholders. The success of the congress will no doubt reposition our party and promote unity of purpose as we look forward to the State Congresses and the National Convention”.
