Manchester United are set to take disciplinary action on Jadon Sancho, for publicly, through a social media, lashing out at manager Erik ten Hag.
Ten Hag had claimed that he dropped England national team winger for their 3-1 defeat at Arsenal on Sunday, 3 September, 2023, because of the player’s poor attitude in training all week.
The 23-year-old then hit back at the Dutch tactician online and claimed he was being used as a scapegoat.
However, Ten Hag is standing by his remarks and United may initiate disciplinary action against Sancho.
Sancho’s latest fall-out with his manager has plunged his future at Old Trafford into doubt at the end of a summer in which United were prepared to listen to offers of £45million for him.
However, the Times report has claimed Sancho has an uncertain future at Old Trafford and all options are open after the player bust-up with his manager
“Sancho’s riposte has not gone down well at Old Trafford and club insiders were debating on Monday whether the former Borussia Dortmund man would play for the club again,” the report said.
Sancho has not started a single game for Manchester United this season and did not make the squad against Arsenal. The transfer window is still open in Turkey, Saudi Arabia and Qatar. That is one option for United to wash their hands of the situation.
