The Mandate Movement has congratulated the Governor of Lagos State, Mr Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu on his emergence as the Chairman of the SouthWest Governors’ Forum.
The Movement in a press release stated that it is delighted to see that the Governor’s leadership abilities have been recognized by his peers in the region and expressed confidence in his ability to navigate the diverse challenges faced by the region, to bring about positive changes.
“We look forward to witnessing the remarkable achievements that will result from his dynamic leadership and collaborative approach. We believe that his dedication and strategic vision will greatly benefit not only Lagos State but also the entire Southwest region,” the statement said.
The Movement stated further that under Governor Sanwo-Olu’s leadership, Lagos has witnessed transformative developments and innovative changes. His commitment to good governance, inclusivity, and sustainable development has earned him immense respect and admiration within and outside the state.
“As the Chairman of the South-West Governors’ Forum, we are confident that Governor Sanwo-Olu will leverage his experience and expertise to foster greater collaboration among the Governors in the region. We are optimistic that under his guidance, the Southwest states will enjoy enhanced economic growth, improved security and better living conditions of the citizens.
