A woman named Maimuna, has committed suicide in Sajeri, Gumari ward of Jere Local Government Area of Borno State.
Thegazellenews.com gathered that the incident happened around 6:00pm on Saturday, 11 February, 2023.
At the scene of the incident, her four-month-old baby was beside her. After the sad development, the deceased children rushed out to inform neighbours that their mother hanged herself in her room.
“When we entered, her first son managed to cut the rope and her lifeless body was on the floor,” one eyewitness was quoted to have said.
Thegazellenews.com gathered that the deceased, a mother of nine left no suicide note, just as her children also said they had no prior knowledge of her intention to take her life.
