Former President, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo could not deliver his polling unit to his preferred Candidate, Peter Obi of the Labour Party as the All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential Candidate, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu won the unit with a wide margin, reports thegazellenews.com.
The former President who has been vocal and visible with his support for the Labour Party candidate delivered a miserly nine votes for Peter Obi in his polling unit at Unit 2, Ward 11, Olushomi compound, Totoro-Sokori Area, Abeokuta North Local Government Area of Ogun State.
The APC Candidate, Bola Ahmed Tinubu won with 56 votes while Alhaji Atiku Abubakar of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) could only garnered seven votes.
