The Presidential Candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has won election in Ekiti State, reports rhegazellenews.com.
According to the results declared for each local government in the state by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) returning officers, the APC Candidate won in all the 16 local government of the state.
After the result of the 16 local governments were collated and summed up, Tinubu polled a total of 201,486 votes to beat his Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) counterpart, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar to a distant second. Atiku polled 89,554 while the Labour Party Candidate, Peter Obi was further back polling meagre 11,397 votes while the candidate of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP), Alhaji Rabiu Kwankwaso polled 364 votes.
