In a move to support the Federal Government’s efforts to create employment opportunities and support affordable transportation, the National Lottery Trust Fund (NLTF) moved to spread good causes through partnership with the Presidential CNG Initiative (Pi-CNG).
The Executive Secretary, Comrade Tosin Adeyanju, on a courtesy visit to the Pi-CNG headquarters in Abuja praised Mr President initiative’s for introducing cheaper gas alternatives to Nigerians.
“We want to explore ways we can partner with you so that we can equip young Nigerians with skills in CNG vehicle conversion and repairs, creating a new generation of entrepreneurs and technicians.
“We want this partnership to be a game-changer for Nigerian youth,” Adeyanju added. “We want to provide training for rural mechanics on repairs of CNG vehicles.
Engineer Mike Oluwagbemi, Programme Director of the Presidential CNG Initiative, expressed gratitude for the Executive Secretary’s collaborative efforts, which align with the initiative’s goal of deploying one million CNG vehicles by 2027. This ambitious plan starts with 21,000 units and aims to reach 150,000 by 2024.
“The Executive Secretary’s leadership has been instrumental in driving this vision forward. His dedication to uplifting the marginalized is truly inspiring.”
