Contrary to the falsehood being peddled around, no student of the Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH), Ogbomoso, died in the Endsars protest that took place earlier today, in Ogbomoso.
Investigation revealed that one Adefolahan Hassan aka MC Francis, who was looking for popularity mobilized some unscrupulous elements in the name of Endsars protest, and took the gang to the Police Area Command.
It was learnt that the University authorities had earlier during the week met with some leaders of the Police force in the town to forestall against confrontation between the Police and students.
Visits to both the Teaching Hospital and the various Police formations indicated that nobody died during the protest.
However a guy who participated in the protest and was running for their life, for fear of being caught in the imbroglio fell and hit his head and was treated at the LAUTECH Teaching Hospital, Ogbomoso, before being discharged.
