The Special Adviser to the Governor of Lagos State on Works, Dr Adekunle Olayinka has delivered goodwill message of the Governor Babajide Sanwo -Olu at the COREN Assembly taking place in Abuja.
The Engineering Assembly, which was held at the Federal Capital Territory was centered on the theme: Regulating Engineering Profession For Shared Prosperity In Nigeria.
While engaging the media at the event, Dr. Olayinka explained that the COREN Engineering Assembly is a forum or platform created by COREN to bring together registered engineers, engineering professionals, and stakeholders in the engineering industry in Nigeria to engage them on the development of the profession.
“The aim of the Engineering Assembly is to provide a platform for networking, sharing knowledge and experiences, and promoting the development of engineering in Nigeria,” Dr Olayinka, himself an engineer, said.
The Assembly provides participants with professional development seminars, workshops, and training programmes to help engineers update their knowledge and skills.
Dr Adekunle Olayinka gave a good representation at the event by excellently delivering the Governor’s messages at the Assembly with the touch of an engineering expert that he is.
