The Chairman of Odiolowo/Ojuwoye Local Council Development Area, Honourable Razaq Olusola Ajala has been appointed the Director of Media and Publicity by the Justice Forum (JF), the foremost political group within the Lagos State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC), reports thegazellenews.com
The appointment of the young but experienced grassroots politician was announced during the executive council meeting of the group which took place on Friday, 12 July, 2024.
Apart from Ajala, council Chairmen such as: the Chairman of Conference 57 and chairman of Bariga LCDA, Kolade Alabi, Deputy State Coordinator; Somolu LG boss, Salawu ‘Dullar’, Financial Secretary; and Ijede LCDA boss, Mrs Alogba, leader for Lagos East Senatorial District; are also part of the Executive Council of JF.
A popular and people-oriented grassroots politician, Ajala’s appointment is seen as putting a round peg in a round hole. His background in journalism and popularity with the grassroots would come in handy for the job.
Being the Director General for the Lagos West Senatorial District which berthed the election of Senator Idiat Oluranti Adebule is also added advantage.
Ajala is also the General Secretary of the Conference 57 having earlier served as the Vice Chairman for Lagos West Senatorial District of the same group.
