The Lagos4Lagos Movement has released names of its preferred members for the Executive Council of the Lagos State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC), reports The Gazelle News.com.
The names of the members of its preferred executive council were announced on Thursday, 23 September, 2021 at the state secretariat of the Movement by its Lead Visioner, Dr Abdul Azeez Olajide Adediran.
Named as Chairman is Agege veteran grassroots politician, Prince Sunday Ajayi while Bode Makinde from Ojo Local Government was named as the Secretary. He will be assisted by Khairat Ojikutu-Shokoya from Ikeja.
Funke Ijayekunle from Somolu was named as the Organising Secretary while Segun Aka-Bashorun was named as the Publicity Secretary. Another veteran grassroots politician from Agege, Rasheed Osanyinpeju was named as Ex-Officio Member 3.
In all, a 36-member Exco Council was unveiled with all of them displaying the nomination forms for the state Congress of the party coming up on Saturday, 16 October, 2021.
Speaking at the ceremony, Adediran expressed readiness of his group for the state Congress.
“We have already purchased nomination forms for our Exco members and the names on this list will contest for the various offices during the state Congress of our great party,” he said.
Adediran stated that the Movement is ready for the state Congress saying that the group will win any freely contested and conducted Congress in the state.
