The speculations regarding his health status and whereabouts of the President –elect, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu has been put to rest with his returned to Nigeria on Monday, 24 April, 2023.
The aircraft which brought the incoming President back to Nigeria touched down at Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja, on Monday evening, 24 April, 2023.
He arrived from France alongside with his wife, Oluremi Tinubu and he was welcomed by a crowd of supporters.
Tinubu had travelled out of the country after the March 18 governorship election.
Tinubu’s return was confirmed by his Director of Media and Publicity, Bayo Onanuga.
He was received at the Abuja International Airport by the Vice President-elect, Kashim Shettima and some state governors.
Tweeting about his arrival, Onanuga wrote: “Jagaban lands in Abuja, Vice President-elect Kashim Shettima and governors at the airport reception for President elect Tinubu.”
