Ahead of the May 29 inauguration, the official transition portraits of the President-elect, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the Vice President-elect, Senator Kashim Shettima, have been released.
The portraits were approved by the Presidential Transition Council.
Tinubu’s Director of Media and Publicity, Bayo Onanuga made this disclosure via his tweeter handle.
“Pre-inauguration official photographs approved by the Presidential Transition Council for President-elect Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Vice President-elect Senator Kashim Shettima,” Onanuga wrote.
The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) had declared Tinubu the winner of the 2023 presidential election.
Running on the platform of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Tinubu defeated Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), and Peter Obi of the Labour Party(LP), Peter Obi.
The duo of Atiku and Obi are contesting Tinubu’s victory at the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal.
