Former Senate Minority Whip, Senator Ganiyu Solomon, has recommended vocational training and technical skills as tools for tackling poverty.
Senator Solomon stated this while speaking at TheGazelleNews 2024 Public Lecture held at Radisson Blu Hotel, GRA, Ikeja, Lagos State on Thursday, 5 November, 2024.

“The future is bright .We have leaders who are planning day and night to make things better for all Nigerians, minimise or reduce poverty in the country. The leaders are not blind to what the people are facing and things will get normal again”.
Solomon, who was the Father of the Day at the Public Lecture, praised management of TheGazelleNews for the theme of the lecture titled “Poverty Alleviation: Fantasies, Expectations, and Realities of People’s Empowerment.”
