Hon Lady Prevail Farida Ahmad has described the recent ‘Men Alive Walk’ programme organised by her NGO as a great success.
“We realised that a lot of men are going through terrible things, hence, we need to reach out to them,” she told thegazellenews.com on the reasons for organising the event.
Organized by Farida Charity Foundation, “Men Alive Walk,” was dedicated to shining a light on the internal struggles that men face and empowering them to find their voices!
“In a world where it’s essential to address mental health and emotional well-being, it’s crucial to recognize that men too face their own set of challenges, often overlooked or underestimated.
“We believe that by coming together as a community, we can encourage open conversations and create a safe space for men to share their feelings, fears, and hopes,” Lady Prevail Farida Ahmad said.
She stated further that during the “Men Alive Walk, “we will be strolling through scenic routes, symbolizing the journey towards breaking free from silence and embracing vulnerability. Along the way, there will be informative sessions, talks by mental health experts, and heartwarming stories of men who have triumphed over adversity.
“This is why we are excited to bring to you the second edition of #MenAliveWalk coming up in August.
“Registration is now open, and your participation will contribute to vital initiatives that provide mental health support for men in need. Together, we can foster a compassionate environment where men feel comfortable seeking help and forging stronger connections.
“Spread the word, invite your friends and family, and let’s create a movement of change! Join us at “Men Alive Walk” 2nd Edition and be a part of this inspiring journey towards a healthier, happier, and more connected community”.
