Friends and associates of Mrs Abiola Oredehin Olatunji, widow of late Lookman Alade Olatunji (a prominent businessman and Lagos/London socialite) and her children were joined on Friday, 21 July, 2023 at the special prayers hosted to commemorate the 15th anniversary of his demise.
The event held at the MRA Hall, Magodo GRA Phase II in Lagos had family, friends and associates of the late Lookman Olatunji (widely known as Toto Abuga), as well as prominent socialites in attendance.
Also at the event, special prayers were offered for the souls of late Toto Abuga’s dad and late Alhaja Toyin Igbira who shared a close bond with the Olatunjis.
Prominent society woman and businesswoman, Chief Mrs Shade Soye while making comments at the event extolled late Abuga’s virtues and glowingly praised his widow, Abiola who she said had not only been a good wife during his husband’s lifetime and after, but also a good mother who has raised successful children masking their dad’s memory proud.
Alhaji Lookman Alade Olatunji aka Toto Abuga was assassinated on June 8, 2008 in Lagos. He was was gunned down by unknown assassins few minutes after leaving the Muritala Mohammed International Airport, Lagos upon returning from London where he had just spent time with his wife and kids.
