The Chairman of the Lagos State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Pastor Cornelius Ojelabi, has rejoiced with Lagosians, especially Christians, on the occasion of this year’s Christmas celebration.
In a statement released on Tuesday, 24 December, 2024, in Lagos, Ojelabi noted that Jesus Christ, the reason for the season, should be the example for daily living and must reflect in the life of every Christian.
He added that the Christmas period should call for sober reflection while remembering the values of love, kindness, and generosity that the season embodies.
Ojelabi urged Lagosians to strive to be their brother’s keeper, support one another, and promote peace and unity in their communities.
“On behalf of the All Progressives Congress (APC), I wish all Lagosians a joyous Christmas and a prosperous New Year,” he said.
Ojelabi acknowledged that the year had been challenging for many Nigerians but assured that the government was working tirelessly to make life easier for all citizens.
He stated that the APC was committed to creating a brighter future for all Lagosians and was working hard to ensure that the state remained a beacon of hope and prosperity.
The Lagos APC Chairman thanked the party members for their support and looked forward to continuing to serve them in the years to come.
