The 2023 presidential elections have come and gone. It has been fought and won!
Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu( 8,794,726)
won convincingly under the platform of the APC party beating Atiku Abubakar of the PDP(6,984,52) to 2nd place and Peter obi of the LP(6,101,533) to 3rd place respectively.
In spite of the sentiments of Muslim- Muslim ticket of the APC party, Asiwaju BAT, popularly address as the ‘Jagaban’ received and created tremendous goodwill to all Nigerians from the six geopolitical zones of the country!
Jagaban remains a household name politically across the divide of ethnicity and religion, no wonder the landslide victory he received at this precarious period of our nationhood!
What remains now is governance, an all-inclusive one for that matter!
To heal wounds created in a rapid sequence manner and solve the myriads of challenges in the economy, security, ethnic and religious fragmentation that we currently have as a country- Mr president-elect, therefore needs to bring his wealth of experience and hit the ground running as promised by Asiwaju himself.
In doing so he needs a workaholic, vibrant and cerebral yet humble chief of staff in the person of Rt Hon James Faleke. He is an insider, who remains the engine room of the 2023 Pcc campaign for BAT/ SHETTIMA.
By the way who is a chief of staff and who is not? A chief of staff is not a ‘big boy’ but rather a chief of staff is ‘a boy’ to his principal yet he understands and personfies governance on behalf of his principal! Faleke is that person that fits this position squarely while other canvassing for same position in the media are ‘big boys’ that will never be suitable- take it or leave it!
Faleke will stabilise the polity!
Additionally, his strategic position as COS will wipe away the nepotic and religious bigotry shared by the opposition against the ruling party over time and currently!
Therefore with every sense of responsibility, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu should build the needed confidence in Nigeria by this singular appointment of James Abiodun Faleke at the swearing-in come 29th May 2023.
It is to be noted that the first two important appointment at the time of swearing in is the position of Chief of Staff to Mr President and the Secretary to the Government of the Federation!
Let me finally put Mr President elect to notice on this important appointment;
that Hon James Abiodun Faleke remains the popular and acceptable Chief of Staff to Mr President amongst the APC family and across party lines for all Nigerians!
May God Almighty grant Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu the courage to make this appointment that will speak to the mind of Nigerians peace, stability, all-inclusiveness and Renewed Hope!
