Ahead of the Ondo State gubernatorial election, the national chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Abdullahi Ganduje, has urged the people of the state to vote massively for the party.
Ganduje, who spoke on Monday, 28 October, 2024 while inaugurating a 305-member national campaign council for the November 16 governorship election, said since President Bola Tinubu is from the region, it would be respectful to vote for the ruling party.
Thegazellenews.com reports that the Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, is the chairman of the campaign council, while Governor Nasir Idris of Kebbi State and Governor Bassey Otu of Cross River are Deputy Chairman 1 and Deputy Chairman 2, respectively and Senator Ovie Omo-Agege will serve as the Secretary of the committee.
