The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) raised on alarm in a tweet on Sunday evening, 18 March, 2023, claiming that thugs invaded the Obingwa Local Government Area (LGA) office in Abia State, venue of the collation centre for Gubernatorial and State Assembly Elections.
The commission added that the situation was being monitored while security agencies had been alerted.
There was widespread violence during Saturday, 18 March, 2023 Elections.
