The President, All Progressives Congress (APC) Professional Women Network (APWN), Dr Atinuke Owolabi, on Thursday, 20 April, 2023 felicitated with Muslims in Ifako-Ijaiye Local Government of Lagos State and nationwide on Eid-el-Fitr celebration.
Owolabi in her Sallah message made available to newsmen, urged Muslims to continue to abide by the teachings of the Ramadan which included unity and love for strong united communities.
“It is a time to reflect on the blessings and mercy of Allah and to share love and happiness with our families, friends, and neighbours.
“As we come out of the Holy Month of Ramadan, may we carry the spirit of generousity, compassion and unity into our daily lives.
“Let us continue to uphold the values of peace, love, and harmony that make us a strong and united community,” she said.
Owolabi, a former Local Government Chairmanship aspirant in Ifako-Ijaiye, pledged continuous tireless service to the development of the council.
She said if given the opportunity to serve, she would prioritise the needs of women, children and vulnerable groups in our society and ensure that their voices are heard and their rights protected.
“On this joyous occasion of Eid-el-Fitr, let us renew our commitment to building a better and brighter future for ourselves and for generations to come. May Allah bless us all and grant us peace, prosperity, and happiness,” she said.
