The Secretary of the All Progressives Congress Presidential Campaign Council (APC PCC), Honourable James Abiodun Faleke has called on Nigerian Muslims not to relent in praying for the progress, unity and peace of the country as the holy month of Ramadan commenced on Thursday, 23 March, 2023.
Faleke, member, representing Ikeja Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, said that the Ramadan is always a sober period hence the need for Nigerian Muslims to increase their supplication towards lasting peace, progress and unity in Nigeria.
The Lawmaker stated this in his Ramadan message to Nigerian Muslims to greet them on the commencement of the fasting month.
“It’s a month of sober reflection. A month Muslims move closer to God in supplications and prayers. I greet our dear Muslim brothers and sisters all over the country on the advent of this holy month,” he said.
According to him, the opportunity offered by the advent of the holy month should be maximise in prayers and supplications for Nigeria.
“As we move towards the inauguration of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu as the 16th President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, we should all be united in our prayers to Almighty Allah to make his reign peaceful which will usher in more progress and unity for the country,” Faleke, Chairman, House Committee on Finance said.
