Nigerian Basketball player, Usman Garuba, has agreed deal with Real Madrid that will see him join the club for the next three seasons, until 30 June 2027.
The Spanish club made this disclosure in a statement placed on their website on Tuesday, 20 August, 2024.
“Real Madrid C. F. has agreed to a deal with Usman Garuba that will see the player join the club for the next three seasons, until 30 June 2027,” Real Madrid’s statement read in part.
Garuba had joined Real Madrid’s youth academy in 2013 and made his made his senior team debut with the Real Madrid first team in 2019.
The power forward spent the three seasons in the NBA, two of them with the Houston Rockets (2021-2023) and the last one with the Golden State Warriors (2023-2024).
He won 4 trophies in three seasons: 1 League, 1 Copa del Rey and 2 Spanish Super Cups.
